Alfalfa sprouts compliment light meals such as salads at any time of the year. The slightly bitter, mildly nutty taste adds a distinctive flavour to salads, soups, dips and many other dishes. They are an excellent source of essential nutrients and contribute to healthy, balanced nutrition.
Alfalfa sprouts contain vitamins A, B2, C, D as well as numerous minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, iron, all 8-essential amino-acids, protein, chlorophyll and fibres.
